Il faut aussi bien veiller à l'hydrater et le nourrir, et penser à une litière durant le voyage s'il s'avère être long.
Vie : Appart ou Maison ?

SI il peut vivre en appartement en clair...
Bien que très proche de l'être humain, il ne souffrira pas de votre absence car ce n'est pas un chat dépendant, il sait avoir ses moments à lui et être seul.
Le Somali comme tout félin s'intéresse de près à nature qui se trouve à l'extérieur, les feuilles qui volent, les oiseaux qui gazouillent ont un attrait sur lui, mais il aura tendance à préférer partager ce moment avec son humain que tout seul.
C'est un chat qui ne connais pas le danger car trop gentil et vas naturellement vers l'humain et l'extérieur peut lui être fatal.
Les éleveurs préconisent aux acheteurs une vie en intérieur ou avec un accès protégé à l'extérieur, ou des sorties en harnais qu'il adorera partager avec son maître (il apprend très vite à s'y habituer).
Sachez toute fois que nous élevons nos chatons sans qu'ils connaissent l'extérieur , afin de ne pas leur donner goût a la vadrouille , après c'est à vous de prendre vos responsabilités.
Laissé à vadrouillé il aura tendance à chercher le contact vers les étrangers et les séduire, donc un risque de vol.
GAMES:
Les chatons sont farceur, ils se cachent derrière une porte, et vous saute dessus, et cela même adulte ainsi qu'entre eux.
Les courses poursuite dans la maison sont leurs jeux favoris, des fois ils s'appuient sur les meubles pour repartir de plus belle.
Ils sont débordants d'intelligence et de dynamisme ; ils sont très vifs et agiles.
En grandissant, le chaton s'assagit quelque peu, et se transforme en un jeune chat svelte, athlétique, toujours passionné par le jeu et par tout ce qui se passe dans la maison.
C'est marrant de les voir jouer, ils attrapent un jouet et grognent tel ils auraient attrapé une proie.
Des fois seul un bout de papier roulé en boule suffit, une bande de papier, et le must quand on reçoit les colis de croquettes ou autres, les cartons !!
